Lomandra longifolia 'Katrinus'

Dimensions: 800mm - 1m tall x 1m - 1.2m wide. 'Katrinus' has soft, weeping, lime green foliage. it has a uniform habit and is shorter than many forms of common Lomandra, which are plants with high variability. For uniform landscapes use Katrinus. Great roadside plants that require no watering.

Flowers: Spring & Summer with yellow medium sized flower spikes held within the foliage.

Aspect: Katrinus grows in full sun and in 50% shade. It is suited to protected coastal planting. It grows well in inland climates where it can handle cold and frost to -7c with little leaf burn.

Soil Types: It is suited to a wide range of soils from sandy loam, clay loam and heavy clay soils.

Mulch Type: Use well composted, processed mulch. We have noted that in humid coastal regions the use of course mulch has proven to be best.
