Description
Dichelachne crinata - 'Longhair Plumegrass', is a cool season grass that has a small basal tuft of foliage with tall upright seed heads that often have a purple tinge. It grows in open grasslands through to woodland on the coast and ranges throughout Queensland, N.S.W. and Victoria. A related species in D. macrantha - 'Shorthair Plumegrass', which is smaller in all dimensions and occurrs in sclerophyll forest.
