Description
Zoysia macrantha - 'Prickly Couch', is a short, rhizomatous and stoloniferous grass that is often mistaken for couch lawn grass. It occurs along the coast where it can be found growing in sand dunes and on the edge of salt marshes, where it often forms large open swards of grass.

Running grass with fine green leaves that spreads to form a mat covering the ground.
