Clumping, upright to slightly arching variegated foliage.
H: 900mm to 1.2 metre W: 900mm to 1m
Spring & Summer
Will grow in full sun and in up to 50% shade and is suited to protected coastal conditions. Coastal humidity poses no problems for this Lomandra variety. Silvertyne will thrive in inland climates and stay evergreen in frost and cold to –10ºC.
Soil Type
Wide range of soil types, from sandy loam, clay loam and free draining light clay
Trim back foliage to 200 to 400mm above the ground every 3 to 5 years, if needed, to refresh and remove older foliage. Fertilize with slow release fertilizer after trimming to encourage fresh re-growth. Be careful when re-mulching and don’t over water.
